Alcoholocaust presents: Naam (Tee Pee), Mondo Drag (Alive!), Hornss

Alcoholocaust Presents NAAM (from Brooklyn, N.Y. - on Tee Pee Records) MONDO DRAG (on Alive Records) HORNSS Doors open at 8:30pm / Show at 9:00pm sharp $8.00 Advance / $10.00 at Door / 21+ NAAM: Beyond the conceptual physical language structure created by mankind, the definition of the name lies in internal rhythm, the internal sound that a man experiences. Those who embrace Naam have the key to the door of mysteries and miracles, as Naam exists in the Divine plane and shines through to the Physical plane, bringing healing and self-renewal. Disgusted by the lack of heavy, psychedelic rock and roll, We deliver our deafening sermon to bring a new dawn for all civilization. The vast seas cannot drown Us, the darkest caverns cannot conceal Us, We will conquer insurmountable foes. We are war, We are peace, We are time and space, We are infinite, We are Naam. teepeerecords.com/bands/naam MONDO DRAG: Like a modern-day Hawkwind, Mondo Drag fall from the cosmos with the spaced-out 60s psychedelia of the title track. It's the sound of UFO's visiting an outdoor rock concert with an audience of stoned bikers and damaged post-Pink Floyd space travelers. That is to say, it's great! Moving on from there, "Love Me (Like A Stranger)" dares to meld Black Sabbath with early Syd-era Floyd, to wondrously lysergic sludge-rock effect. "Come Through" is on a similar flight path as the Brian Jonestown Massacre, with it's laid-back blissed-out vibe. "Serpent Shake" revs it up with a driving riff mantra. These are the true children of the bong, and "New Rituals" is a powerhouse stoner-rock album that reaches back to the past and brings it back to the future, bleary-eyed and on a whole different kinda trip.
