      Asian Heritage Street Celebration

      Be a part of the 9th Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration!Asian Heritage Street Celebration, the country's largest outdoor gathering of Asian Pacific Americans, is happening Saturday, May 18 in San Francisco's Civic Center/Little Saigon neighborhood.Event Monitors are needed to help with the following:*Directing exhibitors to their booth spaces*Helping exhibitors locate missing rental items*Directing exhibitors to their assigned parking areasEvent Monitors will also as safety monitors during the event, working with event organizers, police and emergency services.Volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt, as well as lunch, snacks, and refreshments.  Shifts are 5 hours, and volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods.  A mandatory pre-event orientation will be scheduled for two weeks prior to the event (the week of May 6; exact date, time and location TBD).The event is easily accessible via BART and Muni -- Civic Center Station.
