      • Sunset Hikes
      Date and Time: Wednesdays, July 18 & August 15--6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
      Thursdays, July 19 & August 16--6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
      Adult Fee: $10 for members, $15 for non-members
      Child Fee: $5 members, $10 for non-members
      Child fee for children ages 5 to17 (Hike not recommended for children younger than 5.)

      Friends and family can walk in Filoli’s woodlands by the light of the setting sun and experience the tranquility of Filoli’s Nature Preserve at dusk. This is the ideal time of day to spot Filoli’s resident wildlife and bring cameras and binoculars. Experienced Nature Education docents lead two-hour evening Sunset hikes on varied terrain, which at times can be strenuous. Wear sturdy shoes. Strollers cannot be accommodated on the trails. Space is limited. Advanced registration is required. Visitors may not hike without a Docent.

      • Orchard Tours
      Date and Time: Wednesdays & Saturdays, June 9 through October 20, 2012, 10:30 a.m. to noon. Special Orchard Tours on Father’s Day, June 17, 2012.
      Fee: Visitors taking a docent-led Orchard Tour pay the general admission to Filoli of $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for children ages 5-17 and students with ID, (except during the September 29th Autumn Festival when special event prices apply). No charge to Filoli members (except on special event days).
      Tickets: Advanced registration is required. Contact Filoli at 650-364-8300, ext. 509 to make a reservation with the Visitor Center. Visitors may not tour the Orchard without a Docent. Wear sturdy shoes.

      Filoli has the largest heirloom orchard in private hands in the United States. During the docent-led tour of this unique orchard, visitors learn about the tradition of how Filoli is conserving both the rare fruits and trees, and the defining landscape feature of this country estate. Wear sturdy shoes.

      • Saturday Docent-led Nature Hikes
      Date and Time: Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., now through October 20, 2012.
      Fee: Docent-led hikes are included in the general admission fee to Filoli which also includes same-day admission to the House and Garden — $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (65 and older) and $5 for children and students with ID, (except on special event days). No charge to Filoli members (except on special event days). Hikes not recommended for children younger than 5 years of age. Wear sturdy shoes.
      Tickets: Advanced reservations are required. Contact Filoli at 650-364-8300, ext. 509 to make a reservation with the Visitor Center.

      Filoli’s Nature Preserve has more than 7 miles of trails crisscrossing 6 different types of native California habitat. The docent-led hike covers approximately 3 miles of well-maintained trails and takes about two and one-half hours. Experienced Nature Education Docents describe wildlife, plants, endangered species and the historical background of the area. Wear sturdy shoes. Visitors may not hike without a Docent.
