Level Playing Field Institute's 2013 Fairness Matters Forum

The Fairness Matters Forum (FMF) is Level Playing Field Institute’s annual fundraiser in support of our STEM education and research programs benefiting underrepresented people of color. This inspirational evening features extraordinary honorees, panelists, students, sponsors and board members all celebrating LPFI's vision of a level playing field.

This year’s panel discussion will center on the following theme -

Downloading Opportunities: The Real Impact of MOOCs and Other Online Education Platforms on Equity in STEM.

Our diverse and multi-generational panel will examine the recent popularity of online learning tools, namely massive open online courses (MOOC’s), and the impact that these approaches have on educational equity, particularly as they relate to STEM fields and underrepresented students.

Join us for what promises to be an engaging and thoughtful dialogue!
