Erin Michelson, Author, Adventure Philanthropist: Great Adventures Volunteering Abroad; Finalist, National Geographic Traveler Traveler of the Year: 2013

Christened “The New Philanthropist” by National Geographic Traveler magazine, Michelson recently wrapped up a two-year global living and giving adventure where she visited all seven continents and more than 60 countries. Along the way, she volunteered with local humanitarian organizations, getting to know cultures and communities on a much deeper level.
