New Friday Farmers Market Now Open

San Francisco’s only Friday farmers market is now open from 7am to 2:30pm above Civic Center BART station. Heart of the City Farmers Market is a uniquely independent, farmer-operated, non-profit farmers market with a mission to bring affordable produce from local farms to the heart of San Francisco’s mid-Market community, open Wednesdays, Sundays, and now Fridays along Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets. Each Friday more than 30 local farmers and artisan food vendors provide a wide selection of fresh local produce, farm products, bakery, pastas, hummus and kettle corn. Gourmet lunch options are available two blocks away at Off the Grid in front of City Hall.

      Cost: Free -
