      Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavers (PCIP)

      This course is designed to teach the performance values of permeable interlocking concrete pavers (PICP) with a comparison to other hard surfaces. Industry standards, environmental benefits, sustainable designs, and exfiltration options will be discussed. Participants will gain working knowledge of the environmental benefits of permeable pavers and how PICP can contribute to overall sustainable design and site ecology.

      Learning Objectives:

      • Learn the characteristics and performance values of Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavers (PICP)
      •Evaluate the applications, pavers types, installation processes and design ideas
      •Gain working knowledge of industry standards and how PICP can contribute to an overall sustainable design for their projects
      • Learn design basics of exfiltration options
