Rebecca Joy Fletcher plays Katarina Waldorf, a political outspoken, witty and sensual artist who runs from fascism toward new lights of cabaret, even as world around her grows dark. Performed in English with smatterings of German, French, Yiddish and Hebrew. Blazing lights flash bright, then dark, in the Cabarets of 1920 s & 1930's Berlin; Paris, Warsaw and Tel Aviv- Jewish artists on the move; thrill audiences with their Weimar tangos, Paris Dada shimmies, tribal Yiddish romps, and lullabies of Tel Aviv. Rebecca Joy Fletcher acclaimed chanteuse, actress and playwright joins forces with internationally renowned director Barry Goldman and Broadway veteran Bob Goldstone to create a fresh, irreverent theatrical experience which captures the sparkling Kaleidescope or an era.
