ThoughtWorks San Francisco Celebrates Ada Lovelace Day!

Join us for an amazing evening of mingling, lightning talks, trivia, and prizes to celebrate strong, innovative females within the tech industry!

Ada Lovelace was one of the most influential women in tech history. In 1828, she designed a flying machine and later devised what is recognized to be the first algorithm for computers, making her the the world's first female computer programmer.

October 15th is an international day of celebration that helps people learn about the achievements of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), inspiring others and creating new role models for young and old alike.

ThoughtWorks San Francisco is delighted to host this event for technologists from across the city where we can share ideas in an informal and creative environment.

Food and drinks will be provided by ThoughtWorks, so come hungry for knowledge, networking, and a night of honoring women!
