The Regency Ballroom has been a San Francisco music mecca for over a century. Operated by AEG Live's Goldenvoice division, The Regency Ballroom is home to all of San Francisco's major concert tours and live events. The venue was built in 1909 and is famous for its original and well-polished hardwood floors. Built under the influence of the then contemporary Scottish Rite design, the venue features a horseshoe shaped balcony and neoclassic decorative pieces. Enhancing the historic nature of the venue is its 35 foot ceilings and twenty-two century-old teardrop chandeliers that glimmer onto contemporary performances.
