      12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

      Kappa Community Project, Inc. presents the : 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Lake Chabot Golf CourseOakland, CA on Saturday, October 19, 2019   Kappa Community Project 501(c)(3) is a nonprofit organization, that strives to promote minority youth development and achievement, financially assist college bound scholars, and provide impactful support to homeless communities in the Bay Area. Our organization focuses on:   Kappa League: Developing young African American males in STEM enrichment, college/career preparation, developing successful life skills, and awarding 4-year college scholarships to our graduates.   College Scholarships: Financially supporting college bound students academic scholarships to colleges/universities   All proceeds from this event benefit our Community Service and Scholarship programs for students in the Oakland/San Francisco Area.   The Golf Tournament Details:   The tournament is a 4 person best ball scramble. The price per golfer includes green fee, cart fee, range balls, on-course contests, and banquet luncheon. Raffle tickets and opportunities to bid in a silent auction will be available throughout the day.   In addition to recognizing the Tournament's top finishers, there will be contests for the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.   Since its founding, the Kappa Community Project, Inc. 501(c)(3) has hosted a Charity Golf Tournament to help fund it's community service activities and scholarships to assist local qualified students in pursuing post secondary and graduate degrees.
