Aileen Chanco and Raja Rahman Piano Duo
with the WORLD PREMIERE OF RALPH FARRIS's "LED ASTRAY"

      Led Astray
      (after Led Zep)
Led Astray was commissioned by my old friends Aileen and Raja and inspired by our glory days together as students at Juilliard. I have very fond memories of those times... Lots of practicing, lots of NOT practicing, lots of coffee drinking, lots of video games, lots of listening to Zeppelin... I have a precious memories of Aileen and Raja shaking their heads at the pathetic vision of me blasting "Kashmir" and dancing around in my PJs. Ah, College! It was a very special time for me, and I hoped to capture some of the magic of those days with this little tune. It was a blast to write and such a treat to work with these two dear crazy keyboarders. I hope you like it. My mom likes it a lot!
