By the time she started a family, she became obsessed with sorting out the tangled web of all the second cousins and great aunts while there were still some family elders to help her.  Her mother, uncles, maternal grandparents and great-grandfather all attended UC Berkeley. Her ancestors came from all over the British Isles, some in the early colonial times and others in the19th century. Others were from Denmark (the island of Bornholm).  A native of Berkeley, she graduated from San Francisco State (CSU) with a BA in Psychology and Speech. Her other volunteer experiences have mostly focused on environmental issues and child educational enrichment.  She joined CGS in 1994 spurred by an interest in joining the Book Repair committee. She later joinedthe Desk Volunteerswhich she oversaw for several years. She especially enjoys helping beginners get on the right track with their research.  Contact Lorna Wallace with questions at   REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited so register early.  CGS members - we are asking $10 which the Bancroft library charges CGS..
